There seems to be no end in sight for Brandy and Monica’s alleged feud.
During her Soul Train Awards performance, Brandy changed the lyrics to “Talk About Our Love” to include references to someone “talking ish” and having their whole “fan base jump in” on Instagram.
Many believed that the singer was talking about her ongoing feud with Monica, who responded to the rumor in the classiest way, “Love that goes BOTH ways. it’s disappointing to leave ICU and come to my page to see the foolishness of the 90s ever so present amongst BOTH groups . I will forever respect the legend she is & the history we created. All of you guys do the same ??She’s a vocal beast and we’re both great in our own right!! ??This is her moment. She earned and deserves it . No mention or @ of my name needed !!”

Now, it seems another shot has been fired. Monica appeared on Oprah’s Where Are They Now, where she talked about her relationship with Whitney Houston, referring to the late icon as her “fairy godmother” and adding that she was like that for many people.
Later, Brandy took to Instagram to share a photo of Houston, writing, “Everybody wanted what we had/have and I am blessed enough to have been your friend, #FairyGodDaughter and make history with you as my #FairyGodMother — and now you’re my angel— I wish that you were here in the physical to witness so much of my courage that you stayed on me about– but I know you are watching and I know what you expect me to do. Our bond is unmatched…I love you Nippy.”
Hmmm, coincidence? Maybe. Maybe Brandy was planning to post a photo of Houston before Monica’s comments. Or maybe this is just another moment in what could be a never-ending feud. What do you think?
