Rumors of a strained relationship between Beyonce and her father, Matthew Knowles, have been rife ever since DNA evidence proved he fathered a love child earlier this year. But the two say it’s all rumor. A statement from Knowles’ Music World Entertainment says that Beyonce and her father “unequivocally have had and continue to have a close personal and business relationship…” and that Knowles continues to be Beyonce’s sole and exclusive manager. Knowles, who cultivated Beyonce and sister Solange’s success, recently divorced their mother, Tina Knowles, his wife of 29 years.
