Do I need a ticket to attend?

The Sponsor Pavilion is free to the public with registration. To experience the Crowned Glory Exhibit, exclusive photo activations and receive an exclusive Beauty Carnival tote with a surprise, attendees can purchase the General Admission Plus (GA+) ticket. The VIP ticket provides access to GA+ benefits and the VIP Lounge featuring a luxury experience including lite bites, sips, red-carpet photo moment, glow-up stations, select celebrity meet & greets and elevated Beauty Carnival tote filled with must-have full-size products.

Can I purchase a ticket on site?

Tickets can be purchased on site using credit or debit cards only. We encourage Festival attendees to purchase tickets through www.essence.com/beautycarnival to avoid lines.

Is reentry allowed?

Yes, to reenter into the Sponsor Pavilion, GA Plus Zone or VIP Lounge, ticket holders and General Admission guests are required to enter via the dedicated queue line. Please note there is no queue line for the Beauty Stage Live or Essence Marketplace of Beauty.

Is Entry Guaranteed?

Entry is guaranteed for VIP and GA Plus ticket holders. Entry is not guaranteed for General Admission guests into the Sponsor Pavilion. Please note there is no special entry for the Beauty Stage Live or Essence Marketplace of Beauty.

Do I need a wristband or ticket for access to the event?

Only VIP and GA Plus ticket holders are required to present a ticket and wear the daily wristband throughout the day. Anyone without a wristband in the GA Plus Zone and VIP Lounge will be asked to move to the Sponsor Pavilion, Beauty Stage Live or Essence Marketplace of Beauty.

Is my ticket transferable?

No, tickets are non-transferable.

How many tote bags are included with a VIP or GA+ ticket?

One tote bag per person, per ticket.

Will my child need a ticket to attend?

Children ages 5 and under are allowed free entry when accompanied by a ticketed adult.
