[BLANK_AUDIO] Joining me right now in the studio is actress, fashionista, entrepeneur, singer, seriously there is nothing this young woman can't do. And this summer she stars in Spiderman Homecoming. Please welcome Zendaya back to the show. Hi. Zendaya how are you? I'm really good, how are you? Awesome. Now you said that in your character in Spiderman is smart and a little quirky. Without giving away any spoilers, are there any similarities to you and that character? Absolutely. I think that my character is a bit of a loner. And a lot of people don't think that I am that way. But I am definitely 100 percent a loner. I like to be to myself. You know what I mean. I like to think my character is also very outspoken and you know that I like to do that too. Yeah. But I think she is a very interesting character. Very different from anything we've seen and especially in any Spiderman movie. So Yeah. It was really fun kind of developing her and creating her. Now you play Peter Parker's friend in the movie. Would you ever want to play a superhero and if so which one? Yeah, absolutely. I mean it's cool now that we're seeing a new wave of female superheroes, especially Wonder Woman and everything like that. And also just a new wave of Powerful strong female roles in general and so of course I wanna be a super hero. Yeah. But which one would you be though? If you look at like wonder woman or like, which, do you know which one? I mean there's so many. I've learned so much about like just the comic book wrote- Yeah In the past year that there's like endless options. Yeah But I don't know. I don't know what I would pick. I wouldn't know what I wanna do. I think we should just make up one because you're just so fabulous. Right?
Zendaya is the latest celebrity to participate in Mario Testino’s Towel Series, and of course she looks stunning. Yesterday (July 5), the 20-year-old Oakland, CA native unveiled the black and white portrait, where she can be seen smzing to the camera, draped in a robe that falls off the shoulders while a towel covers her hair.
The Spider-Man: Homecoming star also noted that she’s “wanted to do one of these for a long time.”
Since the inaugural “Towel” post some years ago, the iconic Peruvian photographer has featured a bevy of Black stars from all facets of the industry, including model Imaan Hammam, football players Cam Newton and Odell Beckham Jr., catwalker Jourdan Dunn and more.
Testino has long been celebrated for his work in Hollywood, having snapped photos for a slew of fashion publications like Vogue, GQ, V Magazine, and Vanity Fair.
As for Zendaya, the Hollywood starlet continues to make the press rounds for Spider-Man: Homecoming, and is also heating up the carpet in stunning looks during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
We can’t wait to see what stunning look she unveils next!
