When you bring celebrities to a land flowing with makeup and Black Girl Magic, you’re bound to get spectacular beauty looks. Such was the case at Beautycon Festival held at the Los Angeles Convention Center over the weekend.
On the pink carpet, rolled out in the 720,000 square foot space housing beauty booths and Instagram-friendly installations, stars stunned in glitter rimmed eyelids, shimmery skin, and bold brows à la Ciara. The mom of two donned a look that encompassed all of the above.
The hairstyles were also noteworthy.
Drastic hair transformation is an art that Black women have mastered, and at Beautycon, our skills were on display. On day one of the multi-day festival, Skai Jackson debuted fringe bangs, and they proved to be the perfect frame for her face. On day two, the actress wore gorgeous waist-grazing waves.
