When you bring over four thousand artists from around the world to one city for a weekend chock-full of art shows and parties, you’re bound to come across quite a few eccentric beauty looks. And such was the case at Art Basel Miami 2019, where attendees used their bodies as a canvas.
During the cultural gathering, we spotted beautiful body art, creative coifs and painted faces that were pretty enough to frame.
At the advanced screening of Lena Waithe’s new scripted series, “Twenties,” which will air early next year on BET, we were mesmerized by the artistic lines visual artist Laolu Senbanjo painted onto model figures. And at the Art Fashion runway show, neon makeup had us entranced.
