It’s no secret that we fan girl pretty hard for Lizzo. The Detroit-born, Houston-bred singer makes us feel good as hell whenever she hits an event or red carpet, bringing her refreshingly authentic flair every time. Her hair and makeup are clearly elevating, while she stays true to her sporty-glam aesthetic. She was a sight to see at this year’s MTV Movie and TV Awards this weekend, giving us a softer side in a sleek pony and dramatic bright neon green eyes to match her dress. The ESSENCE cover girl is proving that every color is her color. But it was the buttery soft look of her cocoa skin (where her makeup was kept subtle) that has us double-tapping and truly envious.
It looks like Lizzo be eating honeydew melon. And if that’s what has her skin looking this dewy (get it) and perfect, then we’ll be incorporating that into our diets, stat.
