Hollywood maven, Shonda Rhimes is no different and dished on the one thing that keeps her tresses flourishing.
Following a town hall held alongside Dove and The Crown Coalition fighting discrimination against Black hair, Rhimes divulged the formula she loves for her own locks – Mielle Organic’s Pomegranate & Honey Curl Smoothie.

Rhimes may be known for her effortlessly curly mane now but the star reminisced on her hair journey and the pop diva whose hair she wanted back in the day.
“I spent most of my high school career trying to get my hair to look like Whitney Houston’s,” she revealed.
We’re sure she’s not alone there or in her goal as a mom of three girls to promote confidence in her daughters when it comes to hair and beauty.
“I want them to feel beautiful in relation to each other even. I notice my little girls looking at each other and comparing themselves to one another and I don’t want that. I want them to celebrate each other’s differences and appreciate it. So we’ve worked really hard at that.”
