Though tragedy rocked the sports and entertainment worlds Sunday with the passing of Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, music elite hit the Grammys red carpet and paid their respects.

The award ceremony commenced, and Black entertainers showed up in their best to celebrate music’s big night. For all those that didn’t attend the event, it was at the viewing parties and, of course, the after parties where they came out to shine.
