Wednesday night was this year’s amfAR New York gala and our favorite red carpet regulars spared no glam for the major charity event. Colorful lips and dramatic eyes abound from Iman, who was honored at the event, to Ebonee Davis and La La Anthony.
And while all this perfect hair and beautiful makeup is fun to to look at and draw inspiration from, the purpose of the gala is the true winner of the night. In case you didn’t know, amfAR is The Foundation for AIDS Research, with a mission to end the global AIDS epidemic.
Since the 1980’s the organization has invested millions of dollars into programs that support AIDS research, HIV prevention, and more. The galas and dinners help raise money to further their initiatives, which so many Black women are affected by.
So we’re excited for the outstanding looks that the ladies put on, but their presence to support this cause is the most awe-inspiring. Check out how they showed up and showed out in the gallery below.
