To play off the pantone and patterns in the collection, stylist Gina Edwards used KISS 100-Count Nails in Active Oval with KISS Design Perfection to create a negative space chevron design in a warm mauve hue. “The look perfectly complements the collection and negative space nails are in full force for fall,” says Edwards.

Tibi

Tibi’s fall collection was inspired by the elements of the Inuit culture, so Jin Soon, founder of JINSoon painted a curved line horizontally across the middle of the nail to resemble snow capped mountains. “Making a curve is easy, just be patient,” she says. Apply two coats of JINSoon Nostalgia, then apply JINSoon Doux (available this Spring).

Chromat

Eda Levenson of Lady Fancy Nails applied black and white Cirque Colors nail polish that was inspired by the man-made materials theme for the show.

Desigual

Keri Blair of MAC Cosmetics was inspired by sketchbooks, paint strokes and color stains, when crafting the nails for Desigual. She began with a khaki green base color and then sprinkled gouache paints in blue, red, yellow for a splattered look.

Creatures of The Wind

The collection took a nod to the 1920s art-deco period and the progressive 1970s. To bring this vision to life, butter LONDON global color ambassador Katie Jane Hughes created an bold metallic nail with a matte finish.

Nicole Miller

Nicole Miller’s fall ’15 collection was influenced by a dark, mythical forest. To get the look apply butter LONDON British Nail Lacquer in Racing Green.

Bibhu Mohapatra

To play off the contrast of patterns and colors in the collection, Lead stylist Gina Edwards used imPRESS in Text Appeal nails then adorned each with a pearl on the half moon, accenting the thumbs with white feathers.  “The play on texture perfectly complements the collection and brings a simplistic nail art with accent nails to the forefront for Fall,” says Edwards.

Opening Ceremony

CND created nails with vertical and horizontal striping techniques using VINYLUX Weekly Polish in an array of heavily pigmented Kodak-inspired colors including red, yellow, blue and purple.
