Last night (November 30), Rihanna stepped out for the annual Footwear News Achievement Awards, where her highly coveted FENTY x Puma Creeper was honored as “Shoe of the Year.” As expected, the fashion icon didn’t disappoint in her all black everything Juicy Couture and Vetements ensemble, but make no mistake; her makeup was equally badass. Subscribe to our daily newsletter for the latest in hair, beauty, style and celebrity news. Under her Securite cap (from Vetements’ Spring 2017 collection), the “Needed Me” singer worked it in a subtle, but glitzy metallic eyeshadow. If the latest product releases are any indication, this iridescent shade is definitely a go-to trend for holiday. And of course, it isn’t reserved for red carpets and A-listers.

No matter your budget, there’s a trifecta of options that make going full on prasmatic a realistic makeup goal. Unless you live under a rock, Pat McGrath’s latest release, the Metalmorphosis Kit, has made an appearance on your Instagram feed. The glittery pigments have been worn by everyone, including Naomi Campbell, making it a must-have holiday gift.

If you’re able to snag the silver metallic finish ($60, sephora.com), use your fingers or a brush to swipe across the lid and pair with the kit’s dual-ended liner. You can also spotlight the corners of your eyes or cupid’s bow for a more work-friendly result. For those who want RiRi’s silver shadow on a budget, RMS Beauty’s Twilight Madness delivers the same light reflecting glow for half the price and effort ($20, dermstore.com). Although it is a powder-based formula, the pale smoke shade is buildable and can be applied with a wet brush for a creamier finish. And if you need to stay in single digit territory, your holiday makeup look definitely needs the Catrice Cosmetics Liquid Metal Eyeshadow in “Look Me In The Ice” ($5, ulta.com). Try mixing and matching this with a complimentary color to replicate Rihanna’s pink and silver lids. Slaying in silver just got easier.
