Pat McGrath’s Exciting new Product Launch Will Leave Your Lips Glittery and Gorgeous

Pat McGrath is considered one of the greatest makeup artists in the world. And for good reason. Beyond beautifully beating the faces of the biggest stars and supermodels, McGrath is at the helm of one of the industry’s most influential cosmetic brands: Pat McGrath Labs.

Since launch the namesake collection in October 2015, the venture has been nothing short of astonishing. The first three releases (Gold 001 pigment, Phantom 002 eye shadows and Skin Fetish 003 highlighter) have sold out in a matter of days. And each product launch is met with a level of anticipation that only feeds our need for the next trick up her sleeve.

Well the time has come! McGrath has just announced a brand spankin’ new item to covet: Lust 004.

This time around it’s all about the lips and taking your pout to epic new levels. McGrath has packaged three different lip kits that come with five products — including two matte lipsticks, a tube of clear lipgloss, a pot of feather light giltter and a post of gold powder — meant to create endless eye-catching looks.

“It’s really literally bringing out the inner artist in all of us. This is all about having fun and experimenting,” McGrath explained during a press preview on Wednesday.

The kits officially launch August 30th on, and then on, as well a selection of Sephora stores, on September 8th. The five-piece sets retail for $60, individual lipstick will be $25 each and if you want all the kits it’ll cost you  $150.

This stunning video gives you a glimpse of all the sparkly magic…

If the deep red hue — called Vermillion Venom — looks familar, it’s because models at Versace’s Couture show in June ripped the runway in the glittery lips. And Rihanna is rocking the regal pout on the September cover of W magazine.

And lest you believe that these hues might not work on us brown girls — think again. McGrath is a firm believe that black women can beautifully wear any color in the rainbow.

“We can wear everything,” McGrath told ESSENCE. “And we do. And I do believe that one good thing about social media is it has helped support that idea. It’s just an amazing tool for beauty, for the fact you get to see everything on everybody.”

Luckily I was able to live out my Lust 004 dreams at the press preview and get my lips painted. What do you think?
