The Journey of a Lipstick

We took trip to the Bite Beauty headquarters in Toronto, Canada to learn exactly how lipsticks are made. We soon realized making one single shade is more complicated than we imagined. Each and every Bite product is made in a small batch, which allows control and the attention to detail needed when creating with real ingredients.Follow along as we take a tour through the making of its new Amuse Bouche lipstick collection.

A Journey of a Lipstick

The first step in the process is combining various shades to get the perfect color. Amuse Bouche consists 34 creamy shades in an array of tones and is takes the exact amount of reds, blues, greens and yellows to create the collection.

A perfectly balanced cocktail of twelve edible oils provides optimal hydration and instantly nourished, smoother, softer lips.

The Amuse Bouche collection is made of fresh pressed grapefruit, lemon, lime, tangelo, mint and mandarin extracts that provide a uniquely refreshing flavor.

After the lipsticks are created, they are placed in the lipstick containers. Here, we see Bite Beauty’s newest green shade, Kale, that’s set the launch this summer.
