Available in February 2016, the new MAC and Zac Posen multi-product collection will consist of eye, lip, cheek and brushes. “Over the past 15 years I have learned a great deal from M∙A∙C about beauty,” says designer Zac Posen. “Fashion and beauty go hand-in-hand and I have always wanted to create a makeup collection to complement my designs and brand. It was only natural to work with M∙A∙C to create my first ever signature collection. I wanted to keep it luxurious, a little mysterious and clean with a large dose of star wattage.”
MAC and Valli teamed up to create a lipstick line that consisted of floral shades for summer 2015.
The Prabal Gurung x MAC Cosmetics was one of the most expensive collections. The 14-piece range included bronzing powders ($70), eye shadow duos ($40) and lipsticks ($30).
In Spring 2014, MAC partnered with Proenza Schouler for a limited edition of brightly colored packaging that represented the essence of the Proenza woman.
In July 2010 MAC partnered with the girly-edgy contemporary clothing line, Alice + Olivia. The glitzy collection included lemony $18 Dazzleglass and $20 peacock eye pigments to $12 shimmery lipglosses and nail polishes.
In 2008 designers Traver Rains and Richie Rich of Heatherette partnered with MAC to offer a collection decked in pink packaging.
