Larry Sims Posts Heartwarming Tribute To Gabrielle Union After 'America's Got Talent' Firing

On Sunday night, celebrity hairstylist Larry Sims posted a touching tribute to Gabrielle Union’s beauty. Against the soundtrack of Beyoncé’s “Bow Down (Flawless),” the slideshow includes various photos of the A-list actress donning several different hair and makeup looks. And she’s flawless in all of them.

The nod comes just days after the star revealed on social media why she had been fired from her gig as a judge on NBC’s America’s Got Talent. According to a report from Variety, the work environment had been toxic and there were incidences leading up to the firing, including derogatory comments made about Union’s hair being “too Black” for viewers at times.

Fans and other celebrities immediately took to social media to show their love and support for Union, and their outrage over the firing. Dwayne Wade even posted several messages on Twitter defending his wife, and condemning the network for the move.

But Sims took a different approach, instead using his platform and reach to simply highlight why we love Gabrielle Union’s beauty. He kept the caption simple and brief, and let the photos accentuate his point.

While a spokesperson for NBC and Freemantle released a statement saying that judges are regularly “refreshed” on the show, fans are not satisfied. It’s unclear if there’s more to come from this situation, but it’s clear that Union has tremendous support behind her no matter what.
