Blowouts, Braids and Locs Were The Styles Of Choice For This Years ESPYs

Whether colored, curly, or flowing, the hairstyles on the ESPYs red carpet were simple but elegant.

Coming off of a win from the FIFA Women’s World Cup, the collective US sports world was in high spirits for this year’s ESPY Awards. But while the athletes were checking for each other’s professional accomplishments at last night’s awards show, we were checking for the gorgeous hair and makeup that hit the red carpet. The ladies seemed to be preferential to silky summer blowouts and sky-high lashes.

But they weren’t the only ones that got dolled up for the ceremony. Their male counterparts came through with looks too, most especially with their manes. Locs and braids seem to be the styles of choice, and for the special occasion they ensured that not a strand was out of place.
