There aren’t many things that Beyoncé can do that won’t influence fans, and pretty much the world. So it was no surprise when we started to see nails inspired by The Lion King, and by the singer, who plays Nala in the latest adaptation of the Disney classic.
In all shapes and lengths, the playful nails are a cute and creative way to get into the fever that has swept the nation surrounding the start studded film and its noteworthy soundtrack. With safaris, sunsets, and other warm weather elements that make their way into the movie being on trend for summer nails (it is set in the Pride Lands of Africa after all), it’s also an easy way to show seasonal spirit.
Even Black Ink Crew Chicago star Charmaine got in on the fun nail trend, joking that she did it in honor of Beyoncé, with The Lion King coming in as a close second for her inspiration. Hakuna matata sis, we did it for Beyoncé too.
In fact, one young lady did it so hard for Beyoncé, she did nails inspired by the Alexander McQueen ensemble that the star wore to the premiere, decking out her own nails with crystal and chain embellishments.
We can really feel the love tonight. Now we’re just waiting for the Blue Ivy inspired beauty trends to take over. Red curls with matching nails and makeup, anyone?
