The Black Girls Rock! Awards held at The New Jersey Performing Arts Center Sunday night proved not only do black girls rock, but that we also serve bountiful beauty inspiration.
Before the ceremony honoring Angela Bassett, Regina King, Ciara, and H.E.R. began, celebrities and tastemakers spilled onto the red carpet saturating the mat with bold beauty looks.
Host, Niecy Nash donned an amazing afro, Issa Rae mesmerized us with her flawless skin, and Erykah Badu made us do a double-take. The singer adorned her hair in a fascinating flower crown that was larger than life.
