After Midnight stars Fantasia Barrino, Patti LaBelle and Gladys Knight wowed the crowd at last night’s Tony Awards as they sang an upbeat tune, “On the Sunny Side of the Street,” followed by a dance number from the Broadway musical.
The powerhouse voices complimented each other as the ladies, clad in fun 20’s inspired dresses, opened up the show.
Fantasia is gearing up to end her run on the Tony-nominated musical. Labelle takes over from June 10-29, and Knight from July 8 through August 3. Natalie Cole will make her debut August 5-31.
