Red Carpet: Celebrities at 'The Mountaintop' Broadway Opening

Celebrities came out to show their support for Angela Bassett and Samuel L. Jackson on the opening night of the “The Mountaintop” on Broadway last night.

Alicia Keys was there with her hubby Swiz Beatz, as was legendary actress Ruby Dee, and Cookie and Magic Johnson.

So far, the play has received glowing reviews. Playwright Katori Hall recently spoke with ESSENCE.com and said bringing the play to Broadway and working with Bassett and Jackson has been, “a life-changing experience.”
