Live from the 2011 Black Girls Rock! Awards

The most fabulous stars gathered in New York City last night for the 2011 Black Girls Rock! Awards. This year’s honorees included Pastor Shirley Caesar, Tatyana Ali, Angela Davis, Taraji P. Henson and more. In addition, Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott and Estelle rocked the house.

BGR! is an organization founded by DJ Beverly Bond that mentors young Black girls and works to battle negative images of Black women in the media.
