After a two-year hiatus, the award show all about “Love, Peace, and Soul” returned to TV tonight on BET and Centric. The Soul Train Awards 2009 were hosted by Academy Award-nominated actors Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard–who acted up, sang and showed everyone a good time. This year’s show honored Chaka Khan, Charlie Wilson and Motown Records. Performances from Keri Hilson, Ryan Leslie, Angie Stone, Fantasia, Erykah Badu, Kandi Burruss and Robin Thicke lit-up the stage. And there was the kiss with Toni Braxton and Trey Songz.
