The 2019 Screen Actors Guild Awards were handed out Sunday night, and Black Panther won the top prize of the evening.
It was also another historic night for TV darling Sterling K. Brown. He held the distinction of having the most nominations out of any actor, with three. He took home two thanks to both of his projects, This Is Us, and Black Panther, winning.
Still, the night failed to prove that Hollywood is moving toward more inclusion since Black actresses, including Regina King and KiKi Layne, were shut out of all the major categories. Thankfully, beloved projects such as BlacKkKlansman and Black Panther landed nods.
Here’s who took home a trophy:
01
Black Panther
The Marvel film took home the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture. It also came as no surprise when it was announced that the cast of Black Panther won Best Cast in a Motion Picture.

02
Mahershala Ali
Mahershala Ali won best male actor in a supporting role for playing Dr. Don Shirley in the controversial film, Green Book.
03
This Is Us
NBC hit series This Is Us, starring Sterling K. Brown and Susan Kelechi Watson, won best ensemble in a drama series.
