Anthony Anderson was nominated for his role as devoted family man Andre Johnson on hit ABC sitcom Black-ish at the SAG Awards on Sunday evening, but it was his real life husband duties that stole the show.
While walking the red carpet during the 24th annual award show with his wife Alvina Stewart, the actor adorably got down on one knee to help his Mrs. adjust the strap on her shoe.
Of course, the moment was snapped on camera by photogs but it was super sweet nonetheless.
Anderson and Stewart were high school sweethearts and tied the knot in 1999 and have two children, a daughter Kyra and a son Nathan. Stewart filed for divorce in 2015 but reconciled in January 2017 to start off the New Year as a happy couple once again.
Since the pair kissed and made up, they’ve been red carpet darlings during award season and this moment only further proves that they’re making it work.
There’s nothing sweeter than helping your queen stay flawless.
