Last night, music’s biggest stars came out in their finest gowns and sharpest tuxedos to see which worthy artists would take home a trophy at the 55th annual Grammy Awards.
But the night wasn’t all about the nominees and winners. The stunning, and some-what surprising, fashions and performances were the highlights of the evening for most.
Justin Timberlake made his grand return to the Grammy stage for two special numbers complete with an entire band and sepia tone—thanks to CBS. Frank Ocean performed “Forrest Gump,” while Rihanna, Bruno Mars and Ziggy Marley payed tribute to Bob Marley. ESSENCE Festival performer and Grammy host LL Cool J closed out the show with with a stellar performance with Chuck D for the hip-hop lovers.
