Idris Elba Scores 2 Golden Globe Noms, Uzo Aduba, Will Smith, Queen Latifah Earn Nods Too

Nominations are in for the 73rd annual Golden Globe Awards.

Announced this morning, nominees include Viola Davis and Taraji P. Henson for Best Performance by an Actress in Drama Series for their work in How to Get Away with Murder and Empire, respectively.

British actors Idris Elba and David Oyelowo earned nominations for Best Actor in a Mini-Series or TV Movie Nominees for Luther and Nightingale. Elba also received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for Beasts of No Nation.

Uzo Aduba scored her second Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress in TV series/movie/mini-series for her role as Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren in Orange is the New Black.

The 2016 awards presentation will air January 10 on NBC at 8 p.m.
