The ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood Awards just keep getting better and better and we’re all invited to the party.

Following the recent announcement that Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network will air the awards for the fourth year in a row, we are now excited to share that Insecure star Yvonne Orji is set to host the annual pre-Oscars celebration.

This year’s event will highlight the accomplishments of Black Panther star and award-winning playwright Danai Gurira, Emmy Award-winning writer and actress Lena Waithe, Girls Trip star Tiffany Haddish, and actress/activist Tessa Thompson.

Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong’o and Janelle Monae are among this year’s presenters, along with Get Out’s breakout star Milton “Lil Rel” Howery and Dear White People director Justin Simien.

The 2018 Black Women in Hollywood luncheon, which will be held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills on Thursday, March 1, will air on OWN Saturday, March 3 at 10 p.m. EST.
