“I’m really grateful and thankful to be awarded,” said Badu as she accepted her Rock Star Award. "I don’t take it for granted at all. Before I was a recording artist, I was a teacher, and once I got on stage, it was therapy for me.
UK sensation Estelle received the Who Got Next? Award and was thankful for American fans embracing her just the way she is.
