Office Obsession: Taupe Nails

In a sea of high-drama reds and jet-blacks, it's sort of surprising that taupe would suddenly be the most glamorous nail shade of all--but it is! All the major nail polish brands have just launched their own version of this chocolatey-greige shade, and we keep seeing it popping up on the hands of the chicest girls we know. The color is so unexpected, so cool-without-trying-to-be-cool, that it just works. Our favorites are Essie Nail Polish in Mink Muffs, Creative Nail Design Polish in Chocolate Milk, and Chanel Nail Polish in Trapeze (above). Get into it!
