The Turn Up Was Real at the Grits and Biscuits Block Party

What makes up the perfect summer party? Food, drinks, good friends, and great music. This pretty much sums up one of the livest parties of the season: The Grits and Biscuits Block Party, held on Governors Island in NYC. The event brought out special surprise guests like T.I. and the Ying Yang Twins to give NYC a little taste of the Dirty South. Photographer Stephen Ewings of Life Round Here was on the scene to capture all the turned up moments.
