Hollywood power couple Angela Bassett and Courtney B. Vance are looking forward to working together again after their roles on “ER.” They have just announced plans to produce their first film together, according to Yahoo.com. Under their company Bassett/Vance Prods., Bassett will make her directorial debut on the independent film “United States.” The comedy with a flair for drama will tell the story of a Black writer who finds himself tangled in a web of lies, based on Percival Everett’s novel “Erasure.”—CJ
