Halle Berry spent most of the ’90s and early 2000s in her iconic pixie but now, she’s venturing into uncharted territory.

This summer, the Oscar winner has been experimenting with a badass undercut and using a variety of different styles to show it off. On Wednesday (Sept. 13), Berry made her way to the star-studded Toronto Film Festival, where she sported a head-to-toe ensemble that undoubtedly deserves a full circle view.

But if you can take your eyes off of her curve-hugging jumpsuit, what really deserves your attention is her towering braided ponytail. At first glance and from a head-on view, it appears to be a top knot. However, once Berry begins shifting to the side, you can see high and tight style, created by hairstylist Castillo Bataille, emerge.

And when you’re looking from the back, you can see Berry’s undercut in plain sight, in addition to the multi-toned shades throughout her strands. In short: it’s the hair inspo we needed for fall.
