In fashion, streetwear is leading the conversation. Large luxury fashion houses like Fendi and Louis Vuitton are collaborating with brands like Fila and Supreme for a more relatable approach to the evolving fashion space. Nordstrom, a powerhouse retailer where you can scout all your designer finds has teamed up with the popular streetwear store Union Los Angeles for a project entitled, Concept 005: Union & Company. The new collaboration entails exclusives pieces with 13 streetwear’s brands including Fear Of God, Converse, and Awake NY.

While many streetwear brands stay popular throughout the underground market it often takes a large powerhouse like Nordstrom to partner up with in order to become mainstream. Owner of Union Los Angeles told the LA Times his store only hopes to grow after this collaboration. “We don’t want to be a little secret on La Brea for the rest of our lives,” Gibbs said. “In essence, it’s a Union pop-up but presenting it in a new way for the Nordstrom customer.”
