Pooch Hall Must Attend 12-Month Parenting Class After DUI Charges
Ray Donovan star Marion “Pooch” Hall entered a no contest plea to misdemeanor DUI charges, stemming from an accident last year.
Back in October, Hall was arrested on felony child abuse charges after he was picked up for drunk driving with his young son in the car.
According to TMZ, a witness saw Hall driving with his toddler in his lap before he swerved off the road and crashed into a parked car. When police arrived, the actor’s blood alcohol level was .25, more than three times the legal limit in California. After Hall was arrested, he was released on $100,000 bond.
The actor was facing up to six years in prison, but his plea ensured he would stay out of prison.
As a condition of Hall’s plea agreement, they downgraded his felony DUI charge to a misdemeanor. He was also sentenced to three years probation and a three-month alcohol abuse class. Prosecutors also and agreed to drop the child endangerment charge if Hall completes a year-long parenting class..
