Kanye West took to Twitter to publicly apologize to Drake in an attempt to squash their beef.

The “Ye” rapper was caught in the crosshairs of Drake’s longtime feud with Pusha T, which escalated earlier this year and resulted in Pusha T revealing that Drake had fathered a son with French former adult-film star Sophie Brussaux in his infamous “The Story of Adidon” track.

Many suspected that Yeezy stood behind Pusha T, his G.O.O.D Music artist when it all went down. But now West is setting the record straight.

“Sending good energy and love to Drake and family and crew,” wrote Kanye on Wednesday morning in a long series of tweets. “I haven’t seen the show in person but the images look incredible online. I understand where the confusion started.”

West apologized for stepping on the release date of Drake’s “Scorpion” album with his own “Ye” album, explaining that he had a lot going on at the time. He also apologized for leaving Drake off his “Lift Yourself” track saying that he “should have given you the opportunity for us to do this together before I released it.”

Kanye also says that he should have stepped in as the beef was escalating.

Finally, he denies ever telling Pusha T about Drake’s son as ammunition for his battle with against Drake.

“I did not have any conversations about your child with Pusha. I don’t play with the idea of people’s children after I spoke to Wiz a few years earlier,” West continued referring to the public argument he had with Wiz Khalifa years ago over his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose.

West finished by promising that he would be making an appearance at an upcoming Drake show.

“This is all Jedi level,“ he said. ”I will be coming to your show within the next seven days to give love and be inspired by the art you have created.”

It is not clear what prompted Yeezy to speak out months after much of the things he references went down. But his wife Kim Kardashian West had to earlier this week denounce intensifying rumors that she had slept with Drake.

“Never happened. End of story,” she wrote on Instagram, in response to a video shared by The ShadeRoom speculating that she was the source of the feud between Drake and Kanye.
