Janet Jackson Recreates 'Remember The Time' Video To Honor Michael Jackson On His 60th Birthday
Janet Jackson is doing it big with a tribute to her late brother, Michael Jackson, who would have turned 60 today.
The “Made For Now” singer teamed up with comedian Kwaylon Rogers, more famously known by his Instagram handle Blame It On Kway, to recreate the video for Michael’s 1992 hit, “Remember The Time.”
The original video, featuring model Iman and actor Eddie Murphy, was considered a masterpiece when it was released in 1992.

In a teaser video released by TMZ, Janet can be seen sitting atop a throne and passing judgment on dancers — similar to the role Iman played in the original video. Kway plays one of the dancers trying to win the Queen’s approval.

The video was filmed by Diamond Batiste in a single day, following one day of rehearsals.
According to TMZ, Jackson and Kway first met at the Billboard Music Awards earlier this year. Kway then pitched the tribute idea, and Janet quickly jumped on board. It is not clear when the full video will be released.
The King of Pop died in June 2009 after going into cardiac arrest at his home in Los Angeles.
