Master P's first No Limit Records signee, Mia X, is coming forward about her battle with uterine cancer.

Over the past month, Mia X, whose real name is Mia Young, has used her Instagram page to educate fans about uterine cancer as she works to raise awareness and funding for the less-researched disease. Her posts began with memes that read "f--k cancer" with the "ck" scripted together in the form of the cancer symbol.

Her posts have also taken on a more inspirational tone as she offers words of encouragement for those fighting cancer and the families of those fighting cancer. This week, Mia shared her own story with statistics about the disease. "It is estimated that 10,470 deaths from this disease will occur this year. It is the sixth most common cause of cancer death among women in the United States." The New Orleans native is encouraging anyone affected to "fight like a girl" and beat cancer.
