The actress even shared a cute moment from their dating days to help her husband celebrate his third Olympic gold medal.

La La Anthony may not have been in Rio for the 2016 Olympics Games, but she was cheering her husband on stateside as he brought home the gold with the U.S. Men's Basketball team.

During the Games, Carmelo became the first basketball player to ever win three medals. He also broke the records for the most rebounds, points and most games played by any member of Team USA, which makes him the most decorated men's basketball Olympic player of all-time. Of course, his wife couldn't be any prouder.

The actress took to Instagram and shared several posts congratulated her champion!

First basketball player ever to win 3 gold medals!!! Most points. Most rebounds in USA history!!!! WOOOOOWWWWW!! IM SO PROUD!! WHAT A MOMENT!!! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Although La La wasn't present for the game, she reminded us that she's always around in spirit. The NBA player doesn't have to look far to keep his leading lady in mind.  La La pointed out that he has her name tatted on his wrist.
