Getting your Trinity Audio player ready…

Many fans took to social media to express their frustrations and dissatisfaction when Frank Ocean’s Boys Don’t Cry release date came and went with no album in sight.

According to EW, the artist’s producer, Malay Ho – the producer responsible for Ocean’s 2012 debut album Channel Orange, spoke out about the delay in a Reddit AMA.

“First of all we all massively appreciate love you guys, Frank has told me this himself many times,” said Ho when asked about the album.

So there you have it folks; you can’t rush art. On a positive note, there is still an album of new music to anticipate.

But Ocean’s album will be released only when he’s ready.
