Just Engaged: College Sweethearts Shonda and Kevin Fell In Love on the Dance Floor The CBS segment producer used his media skills to pull off the ultimate engagement proposal to Rachel Jordan, his girlfriend of four years. Kornelius reached out to a blogger who worked with Rachel on a past photo shoot to help set up the special occasion. After some coordination, he paired up with photographer Myron Rogan and Signal 13 Productions to help him set up a fake blogger shoot for his girlfriend.
The couple shot their soon-to-be engagement photos on top of CitiBank’s helipad with a helicopter and the City of Angels as their backdrop. As Rachel prepared for a scene for their elegant shoot, she had no clue that after she twirled and tossed red roses in the air that Kornelius would be down on one knee with a ring. After their engagement, Kornelius whisked Rachel off for a wonderful night around town.
The luxurious engagement surprise took Kornelius a few months to pull off, but we say his hard work definitely paid off!
