The ESSENCE Festival 2016 speaker and principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre married her longtime love Olu Evans. Congratulations Misty!
Wedding bells are ringing for Misty Copeland. Over the weekend, the ballerina wed her longtime love Olu Evans. The couple tied the knot in a gorgeous Laguna Beach ocean front ceremony on Sunday.
With the small and intimate ceremony, Copeland is said to have kept the feeling of romance in the air donning a Inbal Dror wedding gown and Christian Louboutin shoes.
We are sure the bride looked nothing short of beautiful!
In June 2015 Copeland made history when she became the first African American principal dancer in the 75 year history of the American Ballet Theatre.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
