The district attorney rejected charges after a motorist alleged that Dr. Dre brandished a gun.
Dr. Dre won't face any charges after a motorist made a citizen's arrest claiming that the producer brandished a weapon following a road rage incident.
On Monday, the music mogul was searched outside his home after a motorist claimed he saw Dre with a gun. It all began when the motorist pulled over in front of the producer's house. Dre asked the man to move his car and the situation escalated when the man angrily obliged, but later returned. Dr. Dre pulled out his phone to record the situation, but the motorist assumed it was a weapon and made a racist comment. Despite the police search turning up no weapon, the man decided to make a citizen's arrest anyway.
According to TMZ, law enforcement says the L.A. County District Attorney has already rejected the case for lack of evidence. Sources reveal that Dre isn't surprised since no weapon was found and he believed the entire situation to be absurd.
