Common shared his sentiments on working with Madame FLOTUS and how higher education has contributed to his life.

Common is part of the task force for First Lady Michelle Obama's Reach Higher campaign. In April he participated in celebrating College Signing Day. He now joins other A-list stars in a new PSA below.

 

In a recent intervew with E! News, Common shared his sentiments on working with Madame FLOTUS and how higher education has contributed to his life.

"I love the First Lady," Common told E! News. "She's inspirational to me and I feel like she's very authentic and down to earth and sincere."

Though Common received a record deal before he finished his program at Florida A&M, his studies in business administration have proven to be useful in his career endeavors.

"Attending college is something that I think is a benefit to anyobody's life. I loved college," he affirms. "[They were] some of the most beneficial years of my life. The things that I learned definitely helped shape what I'm doing now."
