Vashti Cunningham is on her way to greatness. The daughter of retired NFL star Randall Cunningham is headed to Rio to compete in the Olympics. 

Just one month after graduating from high school, Cunningham has joined the 2016 USA track and field team.

PEOPLE reports that Cunningham finished second in trials coming up behind three-time Olympian and American record-holder Chaunte Lowe.

According to Sports Illustrated, if Cunningham wins a medal at the Olympics, she'll be the youngest track and field athlete to do so since 1972.
