If you were impressed by Gabby Douglas, then you'll be amazed by 19-year-old Simone Biles, who is the first gymnast to take home four consecutive national titles in 42 years.
Last summer, teen gymnast extraordinaire Simone Biles made history as the first woman in World Gymnastics Championships history to win three consecutive all around titles, as well as the first American gymnast to earn 14 World Championships medals and now she's added another historic accomplishment to her growing list of accolades.
The 19-year-old Columbus, Ohio native joined fellow talented gymnasts (including 2012 Olympic champion Gabby Douglas) to compete in the U.S. championships over the weekend and her performance was nothing short of amazing.
Landing atop the scoreboard in nearly every category including the balance beam, vault and floor exercise for both days of the competition, Simone sailed through each round almost effortlessly to claim the overall win and secure her bid to this year's Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Simone's victory makes her the first woman to win four consecutive U.S. all-around titles in 42 years, according to Team USA.
The 2016 Olympics are set to kick off on Friday, August 5.
