Fat-shamers have reared their ugly heads again.

A bride-to-be in Ghana is at the center of a viral news story after she was forced to set them straight when they trolled her engagement photos online.

Tetteh, a plus sized wife-to-be who lives in Ghana, posted engagement photos of herself posed with her fiance Kojo from, which featured a picture showing Kojo literarlly sweeping his beautiful bride off of her feet.

The image, which was posted to Instagram, has since gone viral and received both positive and negative attention, but major kuddos to Tetteh who has ignored the haters and kept her pre-wedding glow.

"Still confident. Your rubbish comments ain't ruining my happiness," she captioned one photo. "Thanks to all for the compliments and best wishes, am honored." 

Kojo spoke to Starr News' who said that loving his woman, no matter her size, despite what anyone says, is all that matters.

"In every society there are people who will try to discourage you from things that you seek to do but I am not bothered at all," he said. “To me, I have always been a fan of plus size women and I am so proud of my woman and I don’t care about what anybody says out there."
