One thing is certain: Lupita Nyong’o’s curls have grown tremendously since her breakout role in 12 Years a Slave in 2013. The once 1-inch, teeny weeny afro is long enough to style in many different ways. From side and middle parts, to powdered widow's peak, and Afro puffs, Nyong’o is truly a hair chameleon, and her ability to pull off virtually any look with short hair deserves a gold star.

Recently the actress was spotted at the Theatre World Awards posing for red carpet pictures wearing three parted puffs with a back ponytail. Seriously, can she be any more creative?

The style was created by Vernon Francois, the man responsible for her most recent red carpet looks, who secured the look with hair pins and elastic bands. Looking to create the look for yourself? Divide the hair into four sections (three in the front, one in the back) and slick down edges with a gel or edge control.

We aren’t sure what the Kenyan actress will rock next, but we’re sure it couldn’t possibly be any cuter than her previous killer looks.
