The 22-year-old singer/actress gets real about joining the table of ladies.
Since Tamar Braxton’s surprising announcement that she would not be returning as a host on The Real, the rumor mill has been spinning about why the sudden departure and who would be replacing her?
Twitter was abuzz with talks about 22-year-old Keke Palmer possibly joining the table of ladies. Keke, on the other hand, had a different idea.
In a tweet published over the weekend, Palmer set the record straight once and for all.
“I’m not hosting the real,” she wrote, “But I am still doing my talk show.”
Don’t count out the young singer/actress just yet.
The former Essence cover girl has certainly earned her stripes in the business that merit this kind of whisper.
In 2014 she made history as the youngest TV talk show host on American national television with her show Just Keke that airs on BET.
While there hasn’t been any confirmation from FOX network that someone will in fact replace Tamar, Keke wouldn’t be a bad option.
