The comedian suffered a meltdown on a busy Los Angeles street in 1996 when police picked him up for brandishing a gun. A few years later, he would check himself into rehab. The comedian came back to work in films like “Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins,” and “Big Momma’s House.” Sony Pictures announced yesterday it would be producing two more sequels in the Bad Boys franchise, but no word yet on whether Martin would be reprising his role!

Characters come and go -- well, mostly go -- on Game of Thrones, but according to this hilarious trailer there's a new knight joining the fray. 

In the parody, Martin Lawrence is the unlikely new face in the Seven Kingdoms.

The clip perfectly mashes up scenes from Lawrence's Black Knight with dark and cryptic scenes from Game of Thrones and almost makes the HBO show seem like a dark comedy.

We're not sure how successful Martin Lawrence would be in the impending war for the Iron Throne or against the White Walkers, but it would definitely be entertaining to watch.
